Another way to perform a Scandisk to any hard drive from Windows, there are several ways to do so, but one of them is to click the Start button, then on my computer and finally clicking with the right mouse on the properties of the hard disk which you want to do the Scandisk. Select the Tools tab and click the check now button in the window that appears select the type of service that you want to in case of errors and click the Start button, from now on if there is any serious problem with the hard disk, will perform the check.


And the last way of doing the Scandisk is to restart the computer with the boot disk and when you are in MS-DOS you type SCANDISK and start checking the hard drive.
